Under the circumstances that more and more countries create many technical barriers related to food sanitation and safety as well as higher and higher demand from customers, FRUITS & GREENS Co., as a leading exporter of dragonfruit and other fruits, in Vietnam, has been involving more and more in supply chain. We currently have qualified facilities to pack fruits and vegetables, have been going into alliance with growers to make sure fruits and vegetables will be grown and supplied under such international standards as Global GAP, HACCP. Such an alliance between FRUITS AND GREENS Co. and 120 growers with 90 hectares of dragon fruit has been inaugurated in Sept. 16, 2010. This alliance, under the agricultural competition project (ACP) financed by the world bank, was the second alliance we took part in. The first one, between FRUITS AND GREENS Co. and the farm Ngoc Han with 14 hectares of dragon fruit, had operated early the year 2010. We expect to export around 9,000 tonnes of dragonfruit in 2010 and plan the year-on-year export growth of 20-30% after that. Our main export markets are Hongkong, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE, Indonesia. D’Fresh, Carrefour, Dole, PT Indo Fresh, Metro, Big C and most recently Tesco include in the list of our customers. We is to tap into the gulf markets and EU early next year. We will steadily grow and diversify to keep leading position in both of export and import as current.
